The safe features exterior dimensions of H: 59" x W: 23" x D: 20" (adding 1-1/2" to depth for handle and hinges) and interior dimensions of H: 55-3/4" x W: 20-1/2" x D: 13-1/2", with an external volume of 15.7 cubic feet and an internal volume of 8.93 cubic feet. It weighs 450 pounds and is constructed with a 5" thick composite steel door made of 11 gauge steel, reinforced by 12 x 1-1/4" diameter steel locking bolts ensuring full door coverage. The door features a re-locker pin for lock tamper protection and a drill-resistant hard plate, while the external hinges are designed to allow the door to open 200 degrees. The body is made from heavy 11 gauge steel, with four pre-drilled holes for floor anchoring (mounting hardware for concrete included) and a choice of commercial grade locks including the UL listed La Gard Basic II electronic lock. With a fire rating of 60 minutes at 1250 degrees F, the safe is equipped with a heat-activated door seal that expands five times its thickness, two layers of fireboard insulation in the body, and three layers in the door.
