The Summit VT65MLBIMED2 is a built-in undercounter manual defrost all-freezer, capable of reaching temperatures as low as -25°C. This unit, part of Accucold's MED2 series, is specifically designed for the storage of vaccines and other sensitive materials in medical, scientific, pharmaceutical, and laboratory settings. It has a compact 24" width and features a front-breathing design that allows for built-in installation under counters, although it can also be used as a freestanding appliance due to its fully finished white cabinet. The external front control panel enables users to adjust and monitor the temperature without the need to open the door, while a front keyed lock enhances security. For added safety in high traffic areas, it includes a hospital grade 'green dot' cord. The VT65MLBIMED2 is equipped with a NIST calibrated thermometer that displays current, minimum, and maximum temperatures to the nearest tenth of a degree, and it can show readings in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. An audible alarm alerts users if the internal temperature strays outside the preset range. The buffered temperature probe, housed in a glycol-filled bottle, ensures accurate temperature reporting, and a pre-installed 3/8" probe hole is provided for additional monitoring equipment. The freezer offers a 3.2 cu. ft. interior capacity with extra thick walls for reliable insulation, and slide-out baskets with clear plastic fronts allow for easy visibility of stored contents without prolonged exposure to warmer air.
