Summit FS30LMED2 compact medical freezer with digital thermostat offers a 1.8 cu.ft. capacity and is part of Accucold's MED2 series, specifically designed for storing vaccines and other sensitive materials in medical, scientific, pharmaceutical, and laboratory settings. The FS30LMED2 is a manual defrost all-freezer intended for countertop use, equipped with an external front control panel for temperature adjustment and monitoring without opening the door. It features a keyed lock for security and a hospital grade 'green dot' cord for safety in high traffic areas. The unit includes a NIST calibrated thermometer that shows current, minimum, and maximum temperatures with a readout in Celsius or Fahrenheit, accompanied by a certificate of calibration. An audible alarm alerts users if temperatures deviate from the set range, while a buffered temperature probe encased in a glycol-filled bottle ensures accurate temperature reporting. The freezer offers a pre-installed 3/8" probe hole for additional monitoring equipment installation. With an operating temperature as low as -20°C, it is ideal for storing certain vaccines.
