The Summit FF28LWHMED2 is a compact auto defrost medical all-refrigerator with a 2.4 cu.ft. capacity, specifically designed for storing vaccines and sensitive materials in medical, scientific, pharmaceutical, and laboratory settings. It features a sleek white finish and a blue top-mounted control panel, allowing users to adjust and monitor the temperature without opening the door. The refrigerator includes a hospital-grade 'green dot' cord for added safety in high-traffic environments and a factory-installed lock for security. Following CDC and VFC program recommendations, it is equipped with a NIST calibrated thermometer that displays current, minimum, and maximum temperatures to the nearest tenth of a degree in both Celsius and Fahrenheit, accompanied by a certificate of calibration. The thermometer features an audible alarm for temperature deviations, with a buffered probe encased in a glycol-filled bottle for accurate temperature simulation. A pre-installed 3/8" probe hole is provided for additional monitoring equipment. The interior consists of two wire shelves for optimal circulation, including a fixed center shelf for the temperature probe, and a flat door liner to minimize temperature exposure when accessed. An internal fan promotes even cooling throughout the unit. All MED2 series refrigerators are assembled in the USA from domestic and imported components.
