Tripp Lite's AVR900U line-interactive UPS provides comprehensive protection for PCs, workstations, and sensitive electronics in a compact, mountable housing. It ensures data integrity and minimizes system downtime by offering battery-supported AC output during blackouts and automatic voltage regulation (AVR) during brownouts and over voltages. The unit includes 12 output receptacles, with 4 widely spaced to accommodate large transformer blocks without obstructing adjacent outlets. Six outlets feature full battery support and surge suppression, safeguarding computers, monitors, and essential components from power loss, while 6 additional outlets with surge suppression are designed for printers and peripherals that do not require battery support. The UPS is equipped with single-line telephone suppression jacks that protect modems, fax machines, and cordless phones, with a built-in splitter for two devices sharing one line. Additionally, a USB port with an included cable and PowerAlert monitoring software allows for safe unattended system shutdown in the event of an extended power failure, and the HID-compliant USB interface supports integration with the built-in power management and auto-shutdown features of Windows and Mac OS X.
