The Abell-Howe® foundationless base mounted light duty jib crane (model 4L0017) has a capacity of 1000 lb. Specifically designed for light duty industrial applications, this jib crane requires only a 6" concrete depth and utilizes epoxy anchor bolts with the Hilti RE-500 adhesive anchoring system requiring a 4 1/2" embedment. It features 360-degree rotation enabled by a tapered roller bearing, which is capable of handling full capacity vertical and radial thrust loading. For installation, the concrete floor must be a minimum of 6" thick and include wire mesh reinforcement, with a minimum soil pressure of 2,500 psf and a minimum concrete compressive strength of 3,000 psi. The jib crane must be positioned on a square foot area that is free from cracks, seams, control joints, and walls, ensuring optimal stability and functionality.
