The Abell-Howe® foundationless base mounted light duty jib crane model 4L0013 has a 500 lb. capacity and is specifically designed for light duty industrial applications requiring only a 6" concrete depth. This foundationless jib is part of the J-904L series and necessitates the use of epoxy anchor bolts, specifically the Hilti RE-500 adhesive anchoring system with a required 4 1/2" embedment. The jib crane allows for 360-degree rotation on a tapered roller bearing, which accommodates full capacity vertical and radial thrust loading. It is essential that the concrete floor supporting the jib crane is at least 6" thick and reinforced with wire mesh, maintaining a minimum soil pressure of 2,500 psf and a minimum concrete compressive strength of 3,000 psi. Additionally, the jib crane must be installed on a square foot area that is free of cracks, seams, control joints, and walls to ensure optimal performance and safety.
