The Abell-Howe® foundationless base mounted light duty jib crane (model 4L0014) has a capacity of 500 lb. This jib crane is part of the Abell-Howe J-904L series, designed specifically for light duty industrial applications that require only a 6" concrete depth. It necessitates the use of epoxy anchor bolts with the Hilti RE-500 adhesive anchoring system, which demands a 4 1/2" embedment. The jib provides 360-degree rotation due to a tapered roller bearing that accommodates full capacity vertical and radial thrust loading. For optimal installation, the concrete floor must be at least 6" thick, contain wire mesh reinforcement, and endure a minimum soil pressure of 2,500 psf, alongside a minimum concrete compressive strength of 3,000 psi.
