The Abell-Howe® foundationless base mounted light duty jib crane (model 4L0041) has a capacity of 500 lb. Designed specifically for light duty industrial applications, the J-904L series jib crane requires only a 6" concrete depth. It necessitates the use of epoxy anchor bolts, specifically the Hilti RE-500 adhesive anchoring system, with a required embedment of 4 1/2". This jib crane offers 360-degree rotation on a tapered roller bearing, which accommodates both vertical and radial thrust loading at full capacity. It is essential that the concrete floor is at least 6" thick and incorporates wire mesh reinforcement, with a minimum soil pressure of 2,500 psf and a concrete compressive strength of at least 3,000 psi. Additionally, the jib crane must be positioned on a square foot area that is free of cracks, seams, control joints, and walls.
