The Abell-Howe® Foundationless Base Mounted Light Duty Jib Crane (model 4L0007) has a capacity of 500 lb and is designed for light duty industrial applications requiring only a 6" concrete depth. The J-904L series features a foundationless design and necessitates epoxy anchor bolts, specifically the Hilti RE-500 adhesive anchoring system with a 4 1/2" embedment. It offers 360-degree rotation on a tapered roller bearing, enabling full capacity vertical and radial thrust loading. The concrete floor must be constructed with a minimum thickness of 6" and include wire mesh reinforcement, with minimum soil pressure rating of 2,500 psf and minimum concrete compressive strength of 3,000 psi. Additionally, the jib crane must be centered on a square foot area that is clear of any cracks, seams, control joints, and walls.
