This disc is constructed with a grinding aid, making it an excellent choice for weld removal, blending, and finish refinement on stainless steel and high nickel alloys. It has a closed coat type and is specifically designed for stainless steel and other heat-sensitive applications. The proprietary 3M™ Precision Shaped Grain technology enhances disc life, accelerates cutting speed, and can increase productivity compared to other leading ceramic discs, effectively reducing time spent on edge chamfering, beveling, and removing stainless steel welds, mill scale, pits and imperfections, and machining grooves, ultimately delivering a lower cost per grind.
