The Plain Trolley is rated for both manual and powered hoists, offering versatility to fit most types of beams and compatibility with all hoist brands. The design factor of 5:1 allows the PT series to be used with a range of hoists. It meets pertinent U.S. (ASME/ANSI and CMAA), Canadian, and European standards. The kit includes side plates made of cold-formed steel for strength and durability, with rail sweeps/drop stops for even load distribution. The wheel axles are rivet-locked to prevent loosening, and the wheels, made of cast iron, feature a 'universal' tread that fits both flat and tapered beams. The wheels are equipped with sealed, 'lubed-for-life' ball bearings, ensuring smoother rolling with less effort and reduced maintenance needs. The wide hanger shaft assemblies enable the PT series trolley to fit almost any I-beam, H-beam, or patented track beam up to 8.06 in. (205 mm) in width, while the hanger shafts are designed to accommodate all hoist brands. Additionally, the hanger shaft features a 'squared out' recess to accept both round and squared hook shapes. The trolleys are painted black for universal coordination, and shaft extension kits are available to allow standard trolleys to fit almost any S-beam or patented track beam with a flange adjustment range of 8'-13'.
