The Plain Trolley is rated for both manual and powered hoists, designed for versatility to fit most beam types and compatible with all hoist brands. With a 5:1 design factor, the PT Series is suitable for use with either manual or powered hoists and meets pertinent U.S. (ASME/ANSI and CMAA), Canadian, and European standards. It features side plates made of cold-formed steel for enhanced strength, durability, and even load distribution, while the wheel axles are 'rivet-locked' to prevent loosening. The cast iron wheels have a 'universal' tread that fits both flat and tapered beams, supported by sealed, 'lubed-for-life' ball bearings for smoother operation, reduced effort, and minimal maintenance. Wide hanger shaft assemblies allow the PT Series trolley to accommodate almost any I-beam, H-beam, or patented track beam with a width of up to 8.06 in./205 mm, and the hanger shaft is designed to accept all hoist brands. The hanger shaft features a 'squared out' recess to fit round or squared hook shapes, and the trolleys are painted black for universal coordination. Additional shaft extension kits are available to enable standard trolleys to fit almost any S-beam or patented track beam, with flange adjustments ranging from 8 to 13 inches.
