The Ingersoll Rand MLK Chain Hoist features a 550 lb. capacity with a 10 ft lift, designed for high production cycle operations and known for its rugged reliability, backed by over 25 years of industry service. This hoist includes either 6 feet of pendant control or 6 feet of pull chain control, allowing for precise operation. Key features include a 100% duty cycle, rated as HMI duty classification A5 for severe duty, which corresponds to FEM 9.511 duty classification 2M. It is particularly suited for harsh environments such as steel mills, foundries, and electroplating operations, as well as high duty cycle applications. The hoist is equipped with either pull chain or pilot pendant controls for precise spotting capabilities, with slow speed models available for enhanced control. It also boasts a self-adjusting, air-operated disc brake that is spring applied and air released, having been wear tested to over 1 million cycles before requiring replacement. All rotating parts are supported by ball or roller type bearings, and a unique planetary gearing system ensures longevity.
