Amt solids handling end suction centrifugal pumps are designed for continuous-duty low pressure OEM, industrial/commercial, and general service applications including circulation, chemical processing, liquid transfer, dirty water, and cooling. These durable and compact pumps feature a cast iron construction, a stainless steel self-cleaning semi-open impeller that prevents clogging and handles solids of 1/8" diameter. The pumps utilize either a carbon/ceramic seal with Viton® elastomers or an SIC/SIC seal with Viton® elastomers. The discharge port can rotate in 90-degree increments, and the design includes a front drain plug. Each unit is equipped with a NEMA 56J TEFC base mounted motor, a stainless steel motor shaft, and hardware. The maximum working pressure is 75 PSI, and the maximum temperature is 180°F. The pull-from-rear design allows for easy service without disturbing any piping, and it is important to note that these pumps are not self-priming and require flooded suction/positive suction pressure.
