Amt solids handling end suction centrifugal pumps are designed for continuous-duty low pressure OEM, industrial/commercial, and general service applications, such as circulation, chemical processing, liquid transfer, dirty water, and cooling. These durable and compact pumps feature a cast iron construction and a stainless steel, self-cleaning, semi-open impeller that prevents clogging while handling solids of 1/8" diameter. The pumps include a carbon/ceramic seal with Viton® elastomers and an optional SiC/SiC seal with Viton® elastomers. The discharge port can rotate in 90-degree increments, and there is a front drain plug for easy maintenance. They are powered by a NEMA 56J TEFC base mounted motor, equipped with a stainless steel motor shaft and hardware. The maximum working pressure is 75 PSI, and the maximum temperature is 180°F. It is important to note that these pumps are not self-priming and require flooded suction or positive suction pressure for operation.
