The Amt 5760-95 CI submersible shredder sewage pump features a double mechanical seal, a 2" outlet, and a 1 HP, 1 phase motor. It incorporates an enhanced spiral shredder mechanism plate and a carbide tipped impeller designed to prevent clogging and reduce maintenance while efficiently handling stringy, fibrous, and sludge-type waste. This pump is suitable for various applications, including sewage pumping stations, septic tanks, sewage treatment plants, dirty water drainage, and emergency flood scenarios. The motors are rated for continuous duty, and the single-phase models come equipped with thermal overload protection. It is important to note that the minimum liquid requirements must be above 85% to avoid potential pump damage, which could void the warranty. The spiral shredder mechanism plate is surface-hardened for improved cutting ability, and an 18-foot electrical cord with a plug is included.
