The pump kit offers a quick and convenient transfer solution for light media, making it ideal for moving small amounts of liquids in settings such as boats, garages, and small shops. Featured in this package is a self-priming pump with actuation located on top for easy operation, capable of transferring up to 1.8 gallons per minute (GPM). It operates on two "D" size (LR20) alkaline batteries, which are not included, and has an approximate working life of 396 gallons per battery set. The kit comes complete with a 23-1/2" (600 mm) long flexible corrugated discharge hose, and a hang hole is provided at the top for convenient storage when not in use. This pump is recommended for use with diesel, kerosene, light oils, water, and other water-based media that are compatible with the pump components; however, it should not be used with any media that is not compatible with the materials used in the pump construction, such as acids, acetone, and benzene.
