Prolube 46231 M10 x 1.0mm metric grease fitting, 45°, is sold in a 5 pack and is manufactured to the most stringent quality standards, with TS16949 approved manufacturing. The fitting profile and dimensions are accurately controlled and conform to SAE, DIN, BS, JIS, and IS standards. These grease fittings are heat treated to SAE J534 specification, achieving a hardness of a minimum of 83 on the Rockwell 15N scale, with a case depth ranging from 0.005" (0.13 mm) to 0.009" (0.23 mm). The steel fittings are plated in yellow zinc, featuring a plating thickness of 0.0002" (5 microns), which also conforms to SAE J534 specification, and they have a guaranteed salt spray life of over 72 hours to red rust.
