These barricades are constructed from heavy-duty 16 gauge steel and are powder-coated for long-term weather resistance. The frames consist of 1.5" (38mm) diameter steel tubing, while the uprights are made from 1/2" steel tubing. Equipped with 21 closely spaced uprights for maximum rigidity, the uprights are fully inserted into the frame prior to welding to provide extraordinary strength. This model is designed with bridge feet (bases) for optimal use on smooth surfaces such as tarmac and to minimize trip hazards for pedestrian traffic. The barricades interlock using the industry-standard hook and half-loop fastening system.
