These barricades are constructed from heavy duty 16 gauge steel and are powder coated to ensure long-term weather resistance. The frames consist of 1.5" (38mm) diameter steel tubing, while the uprights are made from 1/2" steel tubing. A total of twenty-one closely spaced uprights are utilized to achieve maximum rigidity, with each upright fully inserted into the frame before welding, resulting in extraordinary strength. This model is equipped with bridge feet (bases) intended for use on smooth surfaces such as tarmac, providing a minimum trip hazard necessary for pedestrian traffic. Additionally, the barricades feature an interlocking design that employs the industry standard hook and half-loop fastening system.
