Watts 957 Series Reduced Pressure Zone Assemblies, which began production in 2000 and transitioned to Watts in 2002, are available in sizes 2 1/2" to 10" and are constructed of stainless steel. Known for their lightweight design and short lay lengths, the 957 Series has become a top seller for the company. The assemblies come in various configurations with multiple valve options. Access to the check assemblies is facilitated by a stainless steel sleeve that slides open, with the 2 1/2" to 6" models requiring unthreading of the #3 test cock to slide the cover, while the 8" to 10" models utilize two Victaulic clamps to secure the stainless sleeve. This series features two self-contained cam checks using a tri-link check mechanism and a piston/diaphragm style relief valve with an external sensing line hose. The assembly requires no special tools for service and includes essential components such as a 1st check disc, a 2nd check disc, a 1st check module O-ring, a 2nd check module O-ring, two check arm "E" clips, an RV diaphragm/stem assembly, an RV body O-ring, and lubricant.
