Watts 957 Series Reduced Pressure Zone Assemblies, in production since 2000 under the Hunter name and acquired by Watts in 2002, are available in sizes 2 1/2 - 10 inches and constructed from stainless steel. This series is known for its lightweight design and short lay lengths, making it a top seller. The assemblies are offered in various configurations with multiple valve options. Accessing the check assemblies is facilitated by a stainless steel sleeve that slides open; for sizes 2 1/2 - 6 inches, the #3 test cock must be unthreaded to slide the cover, while sizes 8 - 10 inches utilize two Victaulic clamps to secure the sleeve. The 957 Series features two self-contained cam checks operating with a tri-link check mechanism and a piston/diaphragm style relief valve that includes an external sensing line hose. Importantly, no special tools are required for servicing.
