Watts 957 series reduced pressure zone assemblies, produced since 2000 under the Hunter name and manufactured by Watts after acquiring the rights in 2002, are available in sizes ranging from 2 1/2 to 10 inches and constructed of stainless steel. The 957 series is known for its lightweight design and short lay lengths, making it a top seller. It comes in various configurations with multiple valve options, and features a stainless steel sleeve that slides open for accessing the check assemblies. For sizes 2 1/2 to 6 inches, the cover can be accessed by unthreading the #3 test cock, while the 8 to 10-inch sizes utilize two Victaulic clamps to secure the stainless sleeve. The assembly employs two self-contained cam checks with a tri-link check mechanism and includes a piston/diaphragm style relief valve with an external sensing line hose, requiring no special tools for service. The kit includes (2) check discs, (2) check module O-rings, (2) check arm "E" clips, an RV diaphragm/stem assembly, an RV body O-ring, and lubrication.
