Watts 957 Series Reduced Pressure Zone Assemblies began production in 2000 under the Hunter name and were acquired by Watts in 2002, continuing to be manufactured in sizes ranging from 2 1/2" to 10". These assemblies are constructed of stainless steel, making them lightweight and compact, which contributes to their status as a top seller for Watts. The series is available in various configurations with multiple valve options. Accessing the check assemblies is facilitated by a stainless steel sleeve that can slide open; for sizes 2 1/2" to 6", the #3 test cock must be unthreaded before sliding the cover, while sizes 8" to 10" utilize two Victaulic clamps to secure the stainless sleeve. The 957 Series employs two self-contained cam checks featuring a tri-link check mechanism and includes a piston/diaphragm style relief valve equipped with an external sensing line hose. Importantly, no special tools are required for service.
