The Precision Brand® 06150 1/4" x 2" x 2-1/2" plastic key horseshoe shim, solid #84S 1008PC, consists of lightweight "U" shaped shims designed to fit around bolts and anchors, with options for nailing or screwing into surfaces. These shims are color coded for easy identification and are ideal for leveling surfaces during the installation of windows, curtain walls, doors, and cabinets. Key features include economical design, color coded thicknesses, a wide variety of sizes, and excellent compressive strength ranging from 10 to 12,000 PSI. The shims are also unaffected by micro-organisms, alkalis, ground chemicals, and liquids, and will not rust, rot, strain, or leach.
