The kit includes rubber voltage gloves that are electrically tested and stamped with the initial test date, ensuring safety and compliance. These gloves are newly tested before shipment, and it is crucial that they are put into use within 12 months of the test date. Once issued for use, they must be tested again within 6 months from the distribution date to employees. To enhance the lifespan of the rubber voltage gloves, it is recommended to wear them with 10" leather glove protectors, although these protectors do not need to be marked with a date. The gloves are classified as Class 0, with a maximum use voltage of 1,000V AC/1,500V DC, and they also provide protection against arc flash. Compliance is maintained with NFPA 70E, CSA Z462, and ANSI/ASTM D120, Class 0, Type 1 standards.
