The JET JTM-1050 features Meehanite castings and a heavy-duty hardened and ground table measuring 10 x 50 inches, supported by high precision Class 7 precision bearings for the spindle. Its precision bored and honed milling head ensures quality cuts, while the three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop enhances user-friendliness. The design includes chrome lead screws on the X and Y axes, Turcite B for improved movement, and satin chrome finished dials for accurate measurements. The large diameter quill is chromed, and the spindle head is internally cooled. Additional attributes include a no fuse breaker power connection, a heavy-duty motor drive, a chrome plated motor shaft with bearing support at the end, a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, and a heavy-duty spindle brake. The machine is equipped with locks on all movable surfaces, hardened and ground square knee ways and cross ways, adjustable gibs throughout, and an internal coolant tank built into the base for use with a coolant system. A tolerance test sheet and a one-shot lubrication system are included, along with way covers and a draw bar. The entire setup is backed by JET's two-year warranty.
