The Jet® JTM-4VS milling machine is a versatile tool designed for cutting and shaping metal and other materials, featuring a powerful 3 HP motor that operates at 230/460V, 3 PH, and is prewired for 230V. This machine includes a 200S 3Q ACU, X, Y, and knee powerfeed, and is constructed from Meehanite casting with satin chrome-finished dials. It boasts a chrome-plated motor shaft with lower bearing support, a large-diameter chromed quill, and a one-piece quill pinion and shaft. The precision bored and honed milling head is equipped with high-precision class 7 spindle bearings and an internally cooled spindle head. Additional features include a heavy-duty splined motor drive, a three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop, locks on all movable surfaces, a heavy-duty spindle brake, precision hardened and ground ways and table, and adjustable gibs throughout. The internal coolant tank is built into the casting base for compatibility with a coolant system (coolant pump not included), and a one-shot lubrication system is integrated for maintenance ease. A tolerance test sheet is included for quality assurance.
