The Jet® JTM-4VS milling machine is equipped with a 2 HP, 3 HP, 230/460V, 3 PH motor that is prewired for 230V, making it suitable for various metal cutting and shaping tasks. This machine features Meehanite casting, satin chrome-finished dials, and a chrome-plated motor shaft supported by a lower bearing. The large-diameter quill is chromed, and the milling head is precision bored and honed, featuring high-precision Class 7 spindle bearings and an internally cooled spindle head. The design includes locks on all movable surfaces, a heavy-duty spindle brake, and precision hardened and ground ways and table with adjustable gibs throughout. For coolant application, an internal coolant tank is built into the casting base (coolant pump not included), and a one-shot lubrication system is utilized. The package includes a tolerance test sheet, way covers, a draw bar, and a toolbox containing tools.
