The JTM-1 and 2 models feature a robust three-stage power down feed with automatic stop, ensuring precision and efficiency in operation. Constructed from Meehanite castings, these machines boast a precision bored and honed milling head along with a large diameter quill that is chromed for durability. High precision class 7 spindle bearings contribute to the overall accuracy, while the internally cooled spindle head actively prevents seizing during use. The machine is equipped with satin chrome finished dials for ease of measurements and a heavy-duty splined motor drive for increased reliability. Additional features include a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, a heavy-duty spindle brake, precision hardened and ground ways, and adjustable gibs throughout for optimal performance. The internal coolant tank built into the base is designed for use with a coolant system (coolant pump not included), while a tolerance test sheet accompanies the machine. Further enhancing the user experience, the JTM models are outfitted with a one-shot lubrication system, way covers, a draw bar, and a toolbox complete with tools.
