3M™ Scotch® 8981 filament tape measures 1-1/2" x 60 yds and features a thickness of 6.6 mil. The package includes 24 rolls per case. This tape boasts increased tensile strength, making it an effective solution for bundling pipe or reinforcing large bulk containers. It is constructed with a clear, filament-reinforced, polypropylene backing that is resistant to abrasion, moisture, scuffing, and breakage, even when nicked or punctured. The multi-layer synthetic rubber adhesive system effectively prevents delamination and bonds well to a variety of surfaces commonly used in packaging, including corrugated cardboard, fiberboard, plastics, and metals. Recommended applications for this tape include metal and pipe bundling, high strength reinforcing, and heavy duty strapping.
