3M™ Scotch® 893 Filament Tape measures 1" x 60 yds. and has a thickness of 6 mil, with 36 rolls included per case. This filament-reinforced tape features a clear polypropylene backing that is resistant to abrasion, moisture, scuffing, and breaks, maintaining integrity even when nicked or punctured. It offers increased tensile strength, making it suitable for various reinforcing, strapping, and bundling applications. The tape dispenses easily without curling, facilitating straightforward application, while its multi-layer synthetic-rubber adhesive system is designed to prevent delamination. The synthetic adhesive provides a strong bond to a range of surfaces typically used in packaging, including corrugated cardboard, fiberboard, plastic, and metals. Recommended applications include high-strength reinforcing, heavy-duty strapping, sealing and palletizing cartons, securing boxes, metal splicing, coil tabbing, and metal and pipe bundling.
