3M™ Tartan™ 8934 Filament Tape measures 3/4" x 60 yds and features a thickness of 4 mil. Each case includes 48 rolls of this general-purpose clear fiberglass-reinforced tape, which utilizes a synthetic rubber resin adhesive suitable for light-duty strapping, bundling, and reinforcing. The tape is designed to provide good adhesion to most fiberboard surfaces, as well as various plastics and metal surfaces, making it ideal for applications such as box closing, strapping, palletizing, box reinforcing, and general bundling. Its adhesive exhibits good initial adhesion and maintains a secure hold with minimal rub-down. The robust clear film backing is resistant to abrasion and moisture, offers durability against aging, and safeguards the filaments and adhesive to ensure that boxes remain securely closed over extended periods. The combination of backing, filaments, and adhesive delivers high tensile and shear strength, allowing for visibility of printing and illustrations through the tape.
