3M™ Tartan™ 8934 filament tape measures 3 inches by 60 yards and has a thickness of 4 mil, with 12 rolls per case. This general-purpose clear fiberglass-reinforced tape features a synthetic rubber resin adhesive, making it ideal for light-duty strapping, bundling, and reinforcing applications. The synthetic rubber adhesive offers good adhesion to most fiberboard surfaces, various plastics, and metal surfaces, ensuring effective performance in light-duty tasks such as box closing, strapping, palletizing, and general bundling. With a tough, clear film backing that is abrasion and moisture resistant, the tape provides good aging properties and protects the filaments and adhesive, helping boxes remain securely closed over extended periods. The combination of the backing, filaments, and adhesive results in high tensile and shear strength while allowing visibility of printing and illustrations through the tape.
