3M™ Tartan™ 8934 filament tape is a general-purpose, clear fiberglass-reinforced tape measuring 2" x 60 yds and 4 mil thick, supplied in a case of 36 rolls. It features a synthetic rubber resin adhesive that exhibits good adhesion to various surfaces, including most fiberboard, plastics, and metals, making it ideal for light-duty applications such as box closing, strapping, palletizing, and general bundling. The tape is designed to provide good initial adhesion and holds well with minimal rub-down. Its tough, clear film backing offers abrasion and moisture resistance, ensuring longevity by protecting the filaments and adhesive, which helps keep boxes securely closed for extended periods. The combination of the backing, filaments, and adhesive delivers high tensile and shear strength while allowing visibility of printed graphics and illustrations through the tape.
