The Notrax® Switchboard Non-Conductive Diamond Mat is a 1/4" thick mat available in a full 75 ft roll and measures 3' in width, featuring a black/yellow color scheme. This diamond switchboard matting is constructed from a non-conductive PVC compound designed to provide insulation for the worker, effectively preventing grounding and eliminating the risk of electrical shock. Its diamond plate top surface enhances traction and facilitates easy cleaning. Ideal for use in dry environments, the matting can be positioned in front of high voltage boxes, electrical fuse boxes, and transformers. The mat is made from an electrically insulative type 2 PVC compound with a class 2 dielectric strength of 30,000 volts and a proof test rating of 20,000 volts, with a recommended maximum use voltage of 17,000 volts. Each square foot of this matting is tested to meet ANSI/ASTM D-178 specifications. To ensure optimum performance, it is highly recommended that the matting be replaced every 12 months.
