The 3M™ 465 Adhesive Transfer Tape is available in a size of 4 inches by 60 yards and is packaged with 8 rolls per case. This 2 mil clear adhesive tape is designed for high-tack applications, featuring an aggressive bond that adheres on contact, making it ideal for splicing foils, fabrics, films, and papers. The tape exhibits high UV, humidity, and moisture resistance, along with good solvent resistance to endure challenging work environments. Constructed with a robust 60 lb. densified kraft paper release liner, it supports reliable performance in industrial applications such as die-cutting and automated dispensers. It bonds effectively to a variety of substrates, including metal, glass, wood, paper, paint, and many plastics. The 60# unbleached densified kraft liner allows for manual or hand applications, while the tape provides consistently strong bonds in temperatures up to 250°F (121°C). The aggressive acrylic adhesive 400 ensures bonding on contact. Common applications include high-speed flying splices and zero-speed splices on most grades of paper, splicing foils, films, and fabrics, laminating adhesive for foams and photos, attaching metal and plastic nameplates, mounting promotional items and posters, and core starting.
