3M™ Scotch® 926 ATG adhesive transfer tape measures 1/4" x 18 yds and consists of 5 mil clear tape with 72 rolls per case. The tape features 3M™ adhesive 350, a modified acrylic adhesive that provides high shear strength suitable for bonding to difficult surfaces such as low surface energy materials, powder coatings, and slightly oily metals. It exhibits high tack levels for immediate adhesion and maintains excellent chemical resistance and holding strength even at elevated temperatures, with a performance capability of up to 450°F. The tape bonds on contact to various substrates, including metals, plastics, and papers, making it ideal for applications such as adhering to ABS, acrylic, polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polycarbonate, polyester (PET), and nylon. It is designed for demanding industrial applications, foam and gasket attachment, holding and fixturing in product assembly, and bonding folders and boxes with good resistance to flap lifting. Additionally, it is suitable for use in situations where automated equipment is not advantageous.
