The 3M™ 9502 adhesive transfer tape measures 24" x 60 yds and has a thickness of 2 mil. It features 3M™ industrial acrylic adhesive 220, which provides a good bond to high surface energy (HSE) materials. The adhesive is applied to a 4.2 mil polycoated kraft (PCK) paper liner, which protects it until it is ready to be bonded to the substrate. Key attributes include good sheer strength, effective peel adhesion to HSE materials, and a PCK liner that protects the adhesive and allows for quick peeling for easy handling. This economical solution is suitable for a variety of general bonding applications such as metal bonding, painted metal bonding, applying nameplates, appliques, and decorative trim to HSEs, graphic attachment, and lamination to sub-surface printed polycarbonate and polyester graphic overlay materials.
