It includes single-part body mechanically spliced slings, where swaging provides a positive grip. In the standard Flemish eye mechanical splice, the rope is divided into two parts consisting of three adjacent strands and three adjacent strands plus the core. These two parts are then re-laid back in opposite directions to form an eye, with the ends secured using a swaged metal sleeve for durability and performance.
