Polyester web slings are particularly effective in environments where acid exposure occurs and minimal stretch is required, as they remain unaffected by common acids and bleaching agents. However, this material is not suitable for use with concentrated sulfuric acid or alkaline substances, nor in conditions where temperatures exceed 194°F. The typical stretch of a polyester web sling when operating at its rated capacity is approximately 3%.
