Grade 100 alloy chain slings have approximately 25% higher strength than Grade 80, making them ideal as a sling component for overhead lifting. These slings can be utilized for the same applications as Grades 30 through 80 and are manufactured in America using superior triple alloy steel, which offers the best strength-to-weight performance in the industry. CM Herc-Alloy products, including Grade 100 chain, adhere to ASTM A973 standards, while components such as hooks and Hammerlok®s comply with ASTM A952 standards. Each sling is individually serialized for traceability, and proof test certificates are included with each sling. Additionally, these products meet NACM, ASME, and OSHA standards for overhead lifting, ensuring compliance and safety in various lifting applications.
