Grade 100 alloy chain slings have approximately 25% higher strength than Grade 80 and are primarily used as a sling component for overhead lifting. These slings can be utilized in the same applications as Grades 30 through 80. Manufactured in America, CM Herc-Alloy® products consist of superior triple alloy steel, offering the best strength-to-weight performance in the industry. Herc-Alloy® 100 chain complies with ASTM A973 standards, while components, such as hooks and Hammerlocks®, meet ASTM A952 standards. Each sling is individually serialized for traceability, and proof test certificates accompany each sling, ensuring compliance with NACM, ASME, and OSHA standards for overhead lifting.
