3M™ 665 Removable Repositionable Tape is a linerless double coated tape measuring 1" x 72 yds and 3.8 mil in thickness, packaged in 36 rolls per case. It is specifically designed for light duty bonding applications and features differential acrylic adhesives applied to a clear, 1.4 mil UPVC film carrier that is resistant to chemicals and temperature variations. The tape incorporates a permanent medium tack 3M™ acrylic adhesive 400 on the face side and a repositionable acrylic adhesive 1070 on the liner side, providing excellent bonding capabilities for various materials, including metals, glass, wood, papers, paints, and many plastics. The adhesive 1070 ensures clean removal without leaving adhesive residue or causing delamination. The UPVC film carrier enhances handling strength and dimensional stability, making it suitable for die cutting, laminating, and hot wire cutting processes. This tape can perform effectively in a temperature range from -60°F/-51°C to 125°F/52°C and is particularly useful for applications such as reclosable bags or envelopes and core starting and end tabbing of papers.
