3M™ 665 Removable Repositionable Tape measures 3/4" x 72 yds and has a thickness of 3.8 mil, with 48 rolls per case. This linerless double coated tape is designed for light duty bonding applications, featuring differential acrylic adhesives that are applied to a clear, 1.4 mil UPVC film carrier, which is resistant to chemicals and varying temperatures. The tape incorporates a permanent medium tack 3M™ acrylic adhesive 400 on the face side, providing good temperature performance and peel strength, making it ideal for bonding a wide variety of materials, including metals, glass, wood, papers, paints, and many plastics. On the liner side, 3M™ repositionable acrylic adhesive 1070 allows for clean removal without leaving adhesive residue or causing delamination, while the UPVC film carrier enhances the tape's handling and strength. It also features a low density polyethylene liner, which contributes to the tape's excellent performance in die cutting and laminating and allows for hot wire cutting applications. The tape operates effectively in temperatures ranging from -60°F/-51°C to 125°F/52°C and is especially suitable for the temporary mounting of lightweight materials, including applications such as reclosable bags or envelopes and core starting and end tabbing of paper.
