The Skullerz® 8955 lightweight bump cap hat is designed for comfort and style, featuring a highly-ventilated, impact-resistant inner shell that protects against cranial bumps, bruises, scrapes, and minor head injuries. This baseball-style bump cap addresses the challenges of weight and heat with an insert made from durable high-density polyethylene (HDPE) to ensure maximum ventilation and superior breathability, all while maintaining protection. Inside, a removable, washable, and anti-microbial pad made of lightweight EPP foam enhances airflow for cooling comfort. The pad and shell are equipped with matching vents to channel heat away, while cooling channels in the shell allow air movement above the foam for added ventilation. The outer layer consists of all-over laser-cut polyester mesh for enhanced cooling and aesthetic appeal. Compliant with the EN 812-2012 standard, this bump cap weighs less than 5 oz / 135 g.
