Elvex® ArborPants™ chainsaw pants, model Weljeap1m32, are available in medium size with a 32" length and come in black. These pants are specifically designed by professional arborists to be the lightest, most comfortable, and durable chainsaw protective pants on the market. They feature a thin and sleek summer weight design for all-day wear, eliminating the straps and loose catch points associated with traditional chaps, thus enhancing safety and comfort while climbing or working around chippers and other moving equipment. The ArborPants™ integrate ProLarlite™ protective padding, engineered to be lighter and thinner while effectively jamming saw chains to quickly stop cutting action. The highly breathable and lightweight nylon/spandex material is utilized on the full seat and back of the legs, providing ventilation to keep the wearer cool and comfortable, while also stretching and flexing with climbing movements, and is both durable and washable. Notable features include extended protection on the left side of the legs, which is where most injuries occur, a highly elastic waist that stretches up to 8" for a comfortable fit for a wide range of workers, and ample deep pockets with flaps and zipper or Velcro closures to secure tools and possessions while keeping wood chips out. The outer layer of the pants is coated with Kevlar® on the thighs, knees, front legs, and ankles, while the front and waist are made from Cordura® nylon fabric, with the seat and back of the legs constructed from Cordura® nylon and spandex. The ArborPants™ have been tested and certified by Underwriter Laboratories.
