Elvex® ArborPants™ chainsaw pants, model Weljeap1l31, are designed for professional arborists and come in size large with a length of 31 inches, featuring a black color. These pants are engineered to be the lightest, most comfortable, and durable chainsaw protective apparel available. They sport a thin and sleek summer weight design suitable for all-day wear, and eliminate the straps and loose catch points found in traditional chaps, enhancing safety and comfort during climbing and working near chippers and other moving equipment. The Prolarlite™ protective padding is newly engineered to be lighter and thinner while effectively jamming the saw chain to quickly stop cutting action. The pants are made from highly breathable and lightweight nylon/spandex material on the full seat and back of the legs, allowing for ventilation that keeps the wearer cool and comfortable, while also stretching and flexing during climbing movements. They are durable, washable, and certified by Underwriter Laboratories. The ArborPants™ offer extended protection on the left side of the legs, where most injuries occur, and feature a highly elastic waist that stretches up to 8 inches to accommodate a wide range of workers. They also include ample deep pockets with flaps and zipper or Velcro closures to secure tools and possessions while keeping wood chips out. The outer layer is coated with Kevlar® on the thighs, knees, front of the legs, and ankles, while the front and waist are made of Cordura® nylon fabric, with the seat and back of the legs constructed from a combination of Cordura® nylon and spandex.
