The specially formulated plastic allows for submersion in water baths, while the fingers prevent diluting or spilling. It features end plates for labeling and includes numbered and lettered rows for easy tube identification. The fold-up sides lock securely into the grip decks, enabling quick assembly in seconds. Unloaded racks are stackable for efficient storage, and the tube size indicated is for grip function; smaller tubes may fit for storage purposes. The rack is steam autoclavable at 121°C (250°F).
